Who we are
Wedlocked In is an independent podcast made by Ella Samuel and Martin Pearson. You can contact us about anything in this notice at wedlockedinpodcast@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, your email address, the reason you selected, and your message. We use these only to read and reply to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not sell or share this information for marketing.
Where it goes
The form is processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider. Submissions are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us. Netlify acts as a processor on our behalf; their privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for 12 months and then delete them, unless an ongoing conversation means we need them for longer.
Third parties on this site
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome's content delivery network. When the page loads, your browser requests those files from their servers, which can see your IP address as part of serving the request.
Episode audio is loaded directly from our podcast host, Podbean, when you press play. No third-party player runs for the podcast episodes, and no advertising or analytics cookies are set by them.
The video clips on this site are hosted on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads automatically - each clip shows only a still image until you press play. If you do press play, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) and YouTube may then set cookies, which is outside our control. You can decline this when asked and still reach the clip directly on YouTube instead, using the link under each one.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. If you choose to play a video clip, YouTube may set cookies once playback starts - you are asked first, and your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key on-air-cookie-consent. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email wedlockedinpodcast@gmail.com and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
